Fellow Presentation :

Hi, I'm Xingyu from China.
I graduated from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (中国科学院大学) and have been engaged in research on natural language processing. Nowadays, my research interests are mainly focused on information extraction, especially on named entity recognition and relationship extraction tasks in the fields of biology and chemistry.

In the FAIROmics project, I hold the DC9 position. I will design some information extraction tools to characterise the molecules produced or degraded by microorganisms and apply them to plant fermentation food ecosystems, so as to better help scientists in the field of biotechnology and food research the fermentation process.

I am honoured that the FAIROmics project provides such an interdisciplinary platform, enabling collaboration with leading research institutions from around the world and the opportunity to work alongside talented and creative researchers. Moreover, being able to leverage my skills and knowledge through this project to contribute to society and positively impact more people is deeply meaningful to me.
