Hello,
I’m not only interested in developing Artificial Intelligence algorithms, but I’m also interested on how to make their predictions explainable to us “humans”.

I have received my M.Sc. in Data Science from Cairo University, where I have specialized in the integration of graph neural networks and deep reinforcement learning in generative AI for drug design. Also, I have served as a Lecturer Assistant at The British University in Egypt (BUE), where I have transferred knowledge and experience to my students. My research interests include but are not limited to developing reinforcement learning for single and multi-agents systems, graph neural networks, and quantum machine learning algorithms to improve human health.

What attracted me to be working for FAIROmics project as it gathers very skilled researchers and knowledgeable supervisors that will help me to take my skills to next new levels. My goal at FAIROmics project is to develop explainable machine learning algorithms that operates on Knowledge Graphs to support the design of plant-based fermented food products and to contribute to the design of a serious game to enhance knowledge sharing and decision-making in this domain.

What excites me most about the FAIROmics project is its interdisciplinary approach and the opportunity to collaborate with such a friendly, and professional team of experts. Also, this project offers me a blend of contributing to Artificial Intelligence and food science as well, while also considering sustainability and economic aspects. I do believe that working in such supportive and intellectually motivating environment will contribute to the development of my skills.
